Ace director S S Rajamouli is all praises for Sukumar ever since he has watched ‘1’-Nenokkadine. In a rare interview, S S Rajamouli discussed about the film and asked several questions, especially about how Sukumar conceived some of the scenes in the film. Talking about the film, S S Rajamouli said, “I was completely mesmerised while watching the film. Usually, I make a point to not club two strong emotions; however, I was blown away by the film’s pre-interval episode. I still cannot believe that Sukumar managed to make it both quite tense and comical.”
Further, Sukumar revealed his thought process behind the rubik’s cube and how he wrote the screenplay. “I was quite clear about what I was trying to narrate, but for the first time, I was scared when I saw the film on day one. Having said that I’m really proud of the film and Mahesh Babu was outstanding throughout the film,” Sukumar said. In the end, Rajamouli showered Sukumar with more compliments saying, “A lot of times I feel jealous that I can’t set a scene or a shot the way Sukumar does. I’m lucky that I’m his friend, otherwise I would have been very very jealous all the time.”
‘1’-Nenokkadine stars Mahesh Babu, Kriti Sanon in lead roles. 14 Reels Entertainment banner produced the film and Devi Sri Prasad scored the music.
