Legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is currently in San Diego to take part in the Comic Con event. Kamal, along with Project K’s hero Prabhas, director Nag Ashwin and producers unveiled the film’s spectacular glimpse that has left movie lovers in awe.
Speaking at the glimpse launch, the ever humble Kamal said that as artists, they make stories, but it’s the audiences who make stars out of the actors. Addressing hundreds of fans at the Comic Con, Kamal said, “you really understand it when you sit with an audience like this and watch Amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan) perform, Prabhas perform or Rana. We are very honoured to live in this energy, with this energy.”
And Amitabh Bachchan, who was video conferencing live with Project K’s team from Mumbai, interrupted Kamal, his Project K’s co-star, and said, “stop being so modest, Kamal. You are much, much greater than all of us. And this is not a performance you have to put up.” Amitabh went on to say that the kind of work that Kamal Haasan has done is absolutely just very difficult to believe.
“Each one of his films has been filmed with so much reality, and so much effort that he’s put into it, and it’s an honour to have worked with him,” Big B added. Needless to say, Project K’s team and all the fans present at the event gave a thunderous response in agreement of Big B’s praise for Kamal.
