Featuring versatile Malayali actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, Cold Case premiered on Amazon Prime Video last night. The film is billed to be a hybrid genre action-horror thriller and it is helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Tanu Balak.
Cold Case released amid high expectations as teasers and trailer takes up the curiosity factor.
However, the Prithviraj starrer has opened to mixed reviews. It is said that the film has a decent premise and a relatively good hook point but it fails to keep the viewers engaged owing to cliched writing. It is being termed a one-time watch.
The thriller also features acclaimed actors Aditi Balan, Anil Nedumangad, Lakshmipriya and others in important roles.
