LIK (Love Insurance Kampany) and Dude headlined by Pradeep Ranganathan were supposed to lock horns at the box office this Diwali season. However, the clash was averted with LIK giving way for Dude.
The makers of LIK have now officially announced that the film will hit the big screens on December 18, 2025. They compared the clash to two trains on the same track, where a collision helps none. The LIK team felt that avoiding the overlap would allow both movies to shine at the box office and extended their best wishes to the entire Dude team.
LIK is a sci-fi romantic comedy entertainer directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead, with SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, and Mysskin in supporting roles. The project is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio in collaboration with Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara’s Rowdy Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer.
