Actor Naga Chaitanya scored the much-needed success with the recently released pan-India romantic drama, Thandel. Also starring Sai Pallavi in a lead role, the Chandoo Mondeti directorial has amassed over Rs 110 crore gross globally, and emerged as the highest grosser in the Akkineni hero’s career to date.
Basking in the success of Thandel, Chay is quickly moving on to his next project, tentatively titled NC24. As per the latest updates, NC24’s pre-production work is nearing completion, and the unit will commence spring from the last week of February. After Thandel, NC24 will further consolidate Chay’s image in the Northern belt.
NC24 is touted as a mystic thriller. The film will likely feature young beauty Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu, the film is being produced under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings banners. Bollywood actor Sparsh Shrivastava of Laapataa Ladies fame will be seen as the antagonist in NC24. Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath will compose the music.
