Noted costume designer and celebrity stylist Neeraja Kona is all set to make her directoral debut soon. Neeraja has signed legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram to crank the camera for her maiden directorial venture. The film has its story penned by young writer Mithun Chaitanya.
Neeraja had started her film career as an assistant costume designer on NTR and Kajal Aggarwal’s Baadshah which released in 2013. She later turned independent designer and went on to work with several star heroines as personal stylist on popular movies such as Autonagar Surya, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Attarintiki Daredi, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Mersal, Khakhee, Saamy2 and NGK. She also penned lyrics for a few songs in movies such as Thikka, Chal Mohan Ranga and Miss India.
Neeraja’s good friend and actor Nithin and PC Sreeram have broken the news of her directorial debut in a series of tweets this evening. More details about the project will be out soon.
