A police case has been filed on senior producer C Kalyan at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. A lady doctor named Kavitha, a neighbor of the producer, alleged that Kalyan manhandled her and even threatened her following a spat regarding the compensation amount given for the Metro Rail project.
Both Kalyan and Kavitha reside in an apartment complex in Jubilee Hills which falls amid the proposed Metro Rail project. A compensation amount has been given to the apartment residents by the authorities and trouble erupted during the distribution of the money.
C Kalyan is unavailable at the moment and the police are investigating the case under sections 506, 509, 345c.
