Kannappa is all set to storm into theatres this Friday, carrying massive expectations from fans and audiences alike. This long-cherished dream project of Vishnu Manchu, made on a grand scale, is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.
Ahead of the film’s release, Vishnu undertook a spiritual journey – a vow to visit all twelve Jyotirlingas across India. Today, with his visit to the sacred Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, his devotional pilgrimage comes to a meaningful close.
Sharing his experience on X, Vishnu Manchu said: “My heart is full. My soul feels blessed. Life right now is filled with nothing but positivity, gratitude, and peace. As I stand at the edge of this spiritual milestone, I now look forward to the next chapter – Kannappa, releasing worldwide on June 27. A film close to my heart. A story that reflects the very spirit I carry today. Har Har Mahadev.” He also shared photos from his visit, where he sought blessings from the mighty Lord Shiva.
Alongside Vishnu, this mythological epic features a stellar cast including Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and Priety Mukundan in key roles. The film is produced by Mohan Babu, with music composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma.
Twelve Jyotirlingas. One journey. Eternal peace.
Just completed the sacred darshan at Sri Sailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple — one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
With this visit, my journey to all twelve Jyotirlinga temples comes to a divine close.
