Rajinikanth’s Petta opened to some good reviews in Tamil yesterday. As the film released with Ajith’s Viswasam, the collections have been split a bit in between the two films.
Now, the latest we hear is that the film has made 1.12 crores gross on the first day in Chennai. With the Pongal holidays around the corner, the collections are said to go even higher.
Petta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has Simran and Trisha in lead roles. Anirudh scores the music.
