The first single ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ from Ram Charan’s Peddi is creating ripples on social media. The song composed by AR Rahman is driving audiences crazy with its splendid music and Charan’s dance moves. Balaji penned the lyrics for this peppy track.
In a recent interview, the lyricist stated that the song is not about love exactly. “Buchi Babu garu told me that what Peddi character feels for the heroine initially is not love, but desire. That’s why words like ‘saruku saamaanu’, ‘deenakka ‘, and ‘songakarchukunde’ were used in the lyrics. He added that since Peddi is a rough and rustic man, he naturally uses such words,” said Balaji.
Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this big-ticket entertainer, which also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles. Venkata Satish Kilaru of Virddhi Cinemas is the presenter. The movie is set for grand release on March 27, 2026.
