A small note from Tollywood star and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s office on Saturday evening has sent shockwaves across the Telugu film industry. Pawan’s sharp and sarcastic note gains significance, especially when his fans are targeting a few Tollywood bigwigs, accusing them of sabotaging the release of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming pan-India historical drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, by orchestrating a theater strike from the 1st of June.

Starting the note with a sarcastic “thank you” for the “return gift” from the Telugu film industry, Pawan Kalyan stated that none from the Telugu film industry had the courtesy to meet with Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu ever since the NDA alliance government came to power. Pawan said that, henceforth, there will not be any personal meetings with the government and that any further meetings will be held between the government officials and the film industry representatives.

The actor-turned-politician also highlighted Tollywood’s indifference towards important issues such as single-screen revenue sharing, tax filing, ticket prices, etc. Pawan Kalyan also highlighted the dominance of certain “groups” within the Telugu film industry. Needless to say, Pawan Kalyan’s fiery note will leave many in the film industry on their toes. Stay tuned to 123telugu for further updates on this unexpected development.
