Victory Venkatesh made his OTT debut with the crime and family drama Rana Naidu. It also starred Venky’s nephew Rana Daggubati in another lead role. The series garnered all the attention due to the no-holds-barred approach of the makers. Audiences were shocked to see Venky in such a bold show, which was completely a new territory for the actor.
Despite criticism, Rama Naidu registered solid viewership on Netflix. Recently, the makers unveiled season 2’s teaser, which promised a full-on action ride featuring Rana and Venky. Today, it has been announced that Rana Naidu 2 will be available for streaming on Netflix from June 13. A new poster featuring the star cast was revealed in this regard.
This time, the focus will be more on the action part as stated by Rana Daggubati in an interview earlier. Since the first part was a big hit, the second installment is expected to amass a phenomenal response. The show also stars Surveen Chawla, Arjun Rampal, and Kriti Kharbanda in key roles. Karan Anshuman is the creator, and he directed the web series along with Suparn Verma and Abhay Chopra.
