The series in discussion is none other than The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case, which revolves around the sensational assassination of the former Prime Minister of India in Tamil Nadu.

A special aspect of the show is that it has been directed by Hyderabad based director, Nagesh Kukunoor, and has been declared a smash hit. The seven-episode series showcases how Rajiv Gandhi’s killers were tracked down by a special team.
