Telugu actress Ritu Varma is gearing up for the release of her web series titled Devika & Danny. The series made exclusively for Jio Hotstar is directed by Sreekaram fame B. Kishore. Surya Vasistta plays the male lead. The web show marks the production debut of Sudhakar Chaganti under the banner of Joy Films.
Today, the makers dropped the teaser, and it looks quite interesting. It opens with a youngster (Surya Vasistta) attempting suicide. We are then introduced to the female lead, Devika Nandan, played by Ritu Varma. She works as a school teacher and her life revolves around home and school.
Devika compromises on many aspects of her life, including her marriage. However, things take a dramatic turn when Danny, played by Surya Vasistta, enters her life. What happens to Devika after meeting Danny? Why did Danny try to end his life? The teaser raises these questions, adding an element of intrigue.
