Soori’s family drama Maaman was recently released alongside Santhanam’s Devil’s Double Next Level. The latter took a big opening, but Maaman ultimately won the box office race despite receiving mixed reviews. Maaman has grossed over Rs. 40 crores in Tamil Nadu, making it the fourth Rs. 40 crore grosser for Soori after Viduthalai Part 1, Garudan, and Viduthalai Part 2 in the state.
Aishwarya Lekshmi played the female lead. It’s been more than two months since the film hit the big screens, yet it hasn’t arrived on OTT, slightly disappointing movie buffs. But here is some good news for you all. Maaman will be available for streaming from August 8 on Zee5.
It remains to be seen whether the film will be available in other languages from the said date. Directed by Prashanth Pandiyaraj, the film was produced by K. Kumar under Lark Studios. Swasika, Bala Saravanan, and Viji Chandrasekhar played key roles. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music.
