Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, the two young sensations from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries, respectively, have teamed up with each other for the highly anticipated youthful entertainer, Dude. The film’s shooting is currently underway in Chennai.
As per the latest buzz in Kollywood circles, Dude makers have sold the film’s digital rights to the popular OTT platform, Netflix, for a cool Rs 25 crore. This solid deal, if it turns out to be true, reflects the immense craze for the movie. It’s worth mentioning that Pradeep’s Dragon and Mamitha’s Premalu amassed over Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Dude is being directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Kumar under their Mythri Movie Makers banner. Young music sensation Sai Abhyankkar has been roped in to score the music. The film is scheduled for a Diwali 2025 release.
