South Indian director Gopichand Malineni teamed up with North Indian action icon Sunny Deol to deliver a full-blown mass masala entertainer, Jaat. The film struck gold at the box office, and with a sequel already announced, the buzz continues to grow.
Now, Jaat has made its digital debut on Netflix, aiming to entertain audiences across languages. While it was originally made for the Hindi belt, the film is now available in Telugu as well – much to the delight of Sunny Deol’s South Indian fans. It’s a welcome surprise, and how Jaat fares in the OTT space remains to be seen.
