After a lukewarm theatrical run, MAD actress Anantika Sanilkumar’s latest film 8 Vasantalu is heading to OTT. Directed by Phanindra Narsetti, the film was released in cinemas on June 20, 2025, and is now all set to drop on Netflix on July 11, 2025.
Here are two things to note before the OTT release. First, the streaming release isn’t limited to Telugu, the film will also be available in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. However, fans waiting for the Hindi version will have to stay tuned, as there’s no official update yet.
Second, in a recent update, director Phanindra Narsetti revealed that the OTT version will feature a 2:1 aspect ratio, enhancing the full-screen cinematic experience for home viewers, a notable upgrade from the theatrical version.
8 Vasantalu features Hanu Reddy, Ravi Duggirala, and others in key roles, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
