OTT: Blockbuster horror film ‘Sinners’ is now streaming in India, but it comes with a big disappointment

The American supernatural horror film Sinners, starring Michael B. Jordan in a powerful dual role and directed by Ryan Coogler, has been a massive box office success, grossing over $350 million worldwide. After its sensational theatrical run, the much-talked-about film has finally arrived on OTT in India.

Sinners is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video and BookMyShow Stream (BMS Stream). However, there’s a catch – the film isn’t part of the regular subscription. Viewers will need to pay Rs. 499 to watch it on either platform.

What’s more disappointing for Indian audiences is that the movie currently lacks regional language audio and subtitle options on both platforms, making it less accessible for non-English speaking viewers.

With the film still running in several major theaters across India, the big question remains – will audiences opt to pay Rs. 499 to watch Sinners online, or head to the cinemas instead?

Stay tuned for further updates, especially on when Sinners might become available for free streaming.
