The Telangana High Court recently suspended the G.O. issued by Revanth Reddy’s government permitting ticket rate hikes for Pawan Kalyan’s O.G. A person named Barla Mallesh Yadav filed the petition in the High Court questioning the government about the hiked prices. The production house DVV Entertainment has now shared an update on the issue, and at the same time, the makers took a witty dig at the petitioner.
In their social media post, DVV Entertainment wrote, “Telangana HC extends interim order suspending the They Call Him OG ticket price hike memo, applicable only to petitioner Barla Mallesh Yadav. So we’re offering him a ₹100 discount on his ticket at any Nizam theatre! Mallesh garu, hope you also enjoy the film like our fans did.”
The next hearing will happen on October 9. We need to see where this issue ends. Some reports claim that the upcoming biggies won’t have hikes in Telangana, but only time will tell us whether or not there will be ticket rate enhancements.
