Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s latest outing, OG, posted impressive numbers over the first weekend, both in domestic and international markets. Directed by Sujeeth, Pawan Kalyan played a powerful gangster in this film, and Emraan Hashmi played his nemesis.
It is known that the Telangana government had previously issued a G.O. allowing the makers to increase the ticket prices by Rs. 100/- in single screens and by Rs. 150/- in multiplexes. However, a person named Barla Mallesh Yadav approached the court in this matter as we reported earlier.
Now, Revanth Reddy’s government has issued orders to all the theaters to reduce OG’s ticket prices with immediate effect. A memo was issued directing the timely implementation of the old rates (Rs. 295/- in multiplexes, and Rs. 175/- in single screens) set by the government. The theatres have already started opening bookings at regular rates for tomorrow’s shows.
With the latest development, fans and common audiences are expressing joy that they now have the opportunity to watch the Pawan Kalyan starrer at affordable prices. Fans have been requesting the production house to slash the ticket prices, and they are now jumping in joy with the government’s memo.
