Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth’s gangster action drama, OG, is slated to hit the big screens on September 25. The big-ticket entertainer will have paid premieres on September 24 in India, with an official confirmation about these special shows likely to come out soon.
Interestingly, noted actor-director Rahul Ravindran played a key role in the film, though many of his scenes didn’t make it to the final cut. A fan spotted Rahul Ravindran in the trailer alongside Prakash Raj and asked if it was really him.
Rahul Ravindran replied, “Haha, getting a lot of these tweets. Yes, that’s me. I’ve done what was initially a very interesting role, but had to chop down quite a bit. Directors gotta do whatever it takes to make the film better. That’s the most important thing. It’s a good thing. And often, there are many factors that go into such decisions. It’s very understandable.”
