Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s most awaited film OG is set for a grand release on September 25. The first glimpse of Sujeeth’s directorial shook the internet, and later, the first single Firestorm took the madness to new heights. Very soon, the makers will launch a melody song featuring Pawan and Priyanka Mohan.
The North America distributor has now revealed that bookings will go live on August 29. Unlike Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG has immense hype among the general audience too. Trade pundits are expecting the gangster action drama to register remarkable numbers in the territory.
The top three premiere records in North America are currently held by Kalki 2898 AD ($3.9M), RRR ($3.5M), and Pushpa 2: The Rule ($3.34M). Given the extraordinary hype, it shouldn’t be a tough task for OG to break into the top three. The final number will depend on upcoming assets like songs and the trailer.
OG marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi. He plays the nemesis of Pawan Kalyan. The film also features Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, Abhimanyu Singh, and Ajay Ghosh in important roles. DVV Danayya is producing this big-ticket entertainer under the banner of DVV Entertainment, with Thaman as the music composer.
