Pawan Kalyan’s OG directed by Sujeeth emerged as the highest ever opener for the star actor with over Rs.150 crores gross. The movie, also featuring Emraan Hashmi and Priyanka Mohan in key roles, is produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainment banner.
According to trade reports, OG is estimated to have earned around Rs.30 crores gross on the second day. Rains in many parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana impacted the collections significantly. The movie is expected to register jumps today and tomorrow, and later it needs to cash in on the Dussehra festival advantage.
Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, Abhimanyu Singh, Upendra Limaye, Subhaleka Sudhakar, and Sudhev Nair played supporting roles. There is a sequel for OG but at the moment there isn’t any clarity on when it will commence. SS Thaman is the music composer.
