The makers of legendary Tamil actor-director duo Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated gangster drama, Thug Life, postponed the film’s trailer and audio launch events to show solidarity with the nation during the tense situation at the Indo-Pak border. On Wednesday evening, the Thug Life makers made the much-awaited announcement on the dates of the film’s trailer and audio launch events.
Thug Life’s trailer will be out on May 17. This will be followed by the audio launch on May 24. The film’s music composer, AR Rahman, and his team will be performing live at this star-studded event. The recently released Jinguchaa song and the Thug Talks Part 2 created a solid buzz for this high-budget entertainer.
Thug Life also features Tamil stars Simbu, Trisha, Abhirami, and Ashok Selvan and Bollywood stars Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, and others in prominent roles. The film is scheduled for its theatrical release on June 5, 2025. Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal International Films jointly bankrolled this prestigious project.
