Pathu Thala is an upcoming neo-noir gangster drama, featuring Simbu aka STR in the lead role. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the movie has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead.
In a recent interview, the film’s producer Gnanavel Raja said that he approached Superstar Rajinikanth to act in this movie but he hesitated to do it as it was a remake. Later, Simbu loved the story and gave his nod to the movie.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, Gautham Karthik, Kalaiyarasan, Umesh Kaushik, and Soundararaja will appear in prominent roles. The film is a joint venture of Studio Green and Pen Studios banners. The film is all set to hit screens on March 30, 2023, worldwide.
