Mr. Perfect is one of the finest movies of the globally renowned star Prabhas. Directed by Dasarath, the film was recently re-released in cinemas to celebrate Prabhas’ birthday.
In a recent revelation, the film’s director shared an interesting behind-the-scenes twist. Dasarath disclosed that Rakul Preet Singh was originally the first choice for the lead role and even shot for 4-5 days. However, she was later replaced due to a decision made by the production team. The reason for the change, as explained by the director, was that Rakul was relatively new to the industry at the time. The makers preferred a more familiar face, leading them to cast Kajal Aggarwal instead.
Dasarath further mentioned that he and Prabhas attended one of Rakul Preet Singh’s Kannada movie audio release events, where they explained the situation to her father. He was understanding and positive about the decision. Unfortunately, this is how Rakul missed out on a major opportunity to star alongside Prabhas in Mr. Perfect.
