Everyone is aware of the news that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) axed the bikini scene of actress Kiara Advani in War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles. This made many disappointed as well.
The final runtime was first locked at 179 minutes, and the makers applied for censor again after trimming 6.25 minutes of crucial footage that mostly includes the chasing sequences between Hrithik and Jr NTR.
These cuts also include most of the climax shots that could leave potential spoilers. The team, in their best effort, made the cuts to provide a fine experience, and the current runtime is close to 173 minutes, which means 2 hours 53 minutes.
There are some cameos (as we reported earlier), according to the censor certificate (added below). As Jr NTR said in the pre-release event, there will be a lot of surprises packed in War 2. Fans are now curious to find them out as soon as possible.
Ayan Mukerji directed this spy action drama, which was made on a massive budget. Yash Raj Films funded it, and Pritam composed the tunes.
