Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Vamshi Paidipally joined hands for the first time and delivered a blockbuster with Maharshi. The film, which released on May 9, has collected over Rs 90 crore share worldwide and is still going strong at the box-office.
It’s well known that Mahesh, in a latest promotional program for Maharshi, had asked Vamshi to pen yet another script that will suit his image. Vamshi was more than happy to accept the actor’s proposal. Since then, there has been a buzz that the Mahesh-Vamshi Paidipally film number 2 you will be a sequel to Maharshi.
However, the truth is that no script or storyline have been locked so far for the the movie. Vamshi will work on the story only after he finishes his next project. The Mahesh-Vamshi film will go on floors in 2020.
