Looks like the euphoria created by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan will not sizzle out at the box office anytime soon. The film continues to mint solid bucks at the ticket counters across the country. On day 8 of its release, the spy thriller’s Hindi version amassed Rs 17.50 Cr nett in India, taking its overall nett to Rs 336 Cr.
Also, another Rs 75 lakhs were collected by the Telugu and Tamil versions on Wednesday. With this, Pathaan’s consolidated all-India nett stands at Rs 348.5 crore, including all three versions. At this pace, Pathaan will surpass the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan’s Dangal this week.
The Siddharth Anand directorial is expected to become the all-time highest-grossing Bollywood film in India by next week. Deepika Padukone played the love interest of Shah Rukh, while John Abraham played the baddie. Yash Raj Films backed this spy action thriller.
