Versatile actor Dhanush will be next seen in the film Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The movie also stars King Nagarjuna in a significant role. It is scheduled for release on June 20. For the past few hours, social media has been abuzz with speculations that Kuberaa will not make it to the theatres on time and will arrive in July.
However, the team dismissed the rumors, stating that the film is very much on track for a June 20 release. The first single received a good response, and the makers are planning to release the teaser very soon. Kuberaa is set against the backdrop of Dharavi, and it tells the story of a person’s growth from rags to riches.
Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady, and Jim Sarbh plays another vital role. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are bankrolling Kuberaa under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt. Ltd. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
