Nithya Menen is one of the talented actresses in the industry, and she is also a singer. Despite crooning few songs over the years, she has never had formal training, until recently.
Earlier this year, when she finally found time, during a long gap away from film shoots, the actress began training herself in Hindustani Classical music. “I have always loved signing, even when I was in college. Everytime I am in front of the mic to sing, I felt very happy and peaceful. I’m not learning to sing for anyone or to sing more in films. This is my connecting with the Divine,” she said.
The actress has played one of the lead roles in Vijay’s Mersal, and she is currently shooting for a multi-lingual film in VK Prakash’s direction.
