Long ago, Nithiin teamed up with Chal Mohan Ranga director Krishna Chaitanya for a powerful political action drama titled Power Peta. The project was originally planned as a three-part film on a grand scale but was eventually put on the back burner. Later, Nithiin exited the project for unknown reasons.
Everyone assumed Power Peta had been shelved, but during the promotions of Gangs of Godavari, the director openly clarified that the project was very much on. At that time, reports surfaced online suggesting that Vishwak Sen, who also played the lead in Gangs of Godavari would headline the film.
However, the latest reports claim that the project will now feature Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The director is said to have made significant changes to the script, and the film will now be made as a single-part feature instead of a trilogy. An official announcement is awaited.
