At a recent press meet, producer Naga Vamsi addressed a long-running doubt that had Ram Charan fans curious. Gowtam was once set to direct a film with Ram Charan, which was later shelved for reasons that were never made public. Ever since Kingdom was announced, many believed it could be a reworked version of that project.
Naga Vamsi has now put those rumours to rest. He confirmed that the story narrated to Ram Charan was entirely different. That chapter is closed.
However, a new speculation has begun to take shape. In another recent interview, Naga Vamsi hinted that Ram Charan will do a quick film after Peddi and before RC17 with Sukumar. With that comment, fans have started connecting the dots. Could Gowtam and Charan finally collaborate under Vamsi’s banner? As of now, nothing is official. But the new question has already begun circulating among fans.
