Actress Rashmika Mandanna, widely regarded as a lucky charm at the box office, is set to appear next in the upcoming romantic drama The Girlfriend. The film is being directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, known for his sensitive storytelling.
Today, the makers officially released the full version of the first song from the film, titled “Nadhive.” This melodious track features the lead pair, Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty, who is known for his notable performances in Dia and Dasara.
“Nadhive” is composed and sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab, with heartfelt lyrics penned by Rakendu Mouli. The song reflects the emotional arc of the female lead and captures the essence of their love story. The graceful choreography, designed by Vishwakiran Nambi, enhances the visual appeal, with Rashmika and Dheekshith delivering expressive performances.
The film’s supporting cast includes acclaimed actors Rao Ramesh and Rohini, along with Anu Emmanuel, who appears in a special role. The Girlfriend is presented by Allu Aravind under the prestigious Geetha Arts banner. It is produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni as a pan-Indian project aimed at reaching a wider audience across languages.
