Naandhi was a comeback film for Allari Naresh, who faced a flurry of flops before it. Vijay Kanakamedala impressed one and all with his directorial skills. After Naandhi, Vijay was supposed to do a film with Naga Chaitanya.

But there was no update about the same for a long time. Vijay Kanakamedala, who is currently participating in the promotions of his new film Ugram spoke about his film with the Akkineni actor. Vijay said that he traveled with Naga Chaitanya for about 8 months and added that the latter was even okay with the former’s script.

“But we had different opinions about the climax portion, which forms the crux of the story,” said Vijay. The young director added that hence he and Chay backed out of the project with a mutual understanding. Vijay felt that either he or Naga Chaitanya would have not been satisfactory had the project commenced. Vijay, however, said that he created a different climax version now that was not there initially and expressed his hope to collaborate with the Custody actor soon.
