Dhanush starrer Maari, directed by Balaji Mohan, was one of the biggest hits in the duo’s career when it had released in 2015. Now, three years later, the two have teamed up again for a sequel Maari 2.
The film made news recently when Ilaiyaraaja came onboard to sing a song, which was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The much awaited sequel was launched earlier today following a Pooja ceremony at Nellaiappar temple in Tirunalveli in Tamil Nadu.
Sai Pallavi is paired opposite Dhanush in this romantic action drama. More details are awaited about the film.
