Malayalam actor Mohanlal’s Malaikotta Vaaliban is up for a grand release during the 2024 Republic Day weekend. The release date of the actor’s new film Neru has been announced today. Accordingly, the film will hit the screens on 21st December 2023
Surprisingly, there isn’t much gap between the release of Neru and Malaikottai Vaaliban. The movie will now clash with Prabhas’ Salaar and SRK’s Dunki during the Christmas season. Both Salaar and Dunki have a good buzz in the Kerala region, and hence, this three-way clash looks interesting.
The even more exciting thing is that Neru is directed by Drishyam fame Jeethu Joseph. This is the fourth collaboration between Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph after Drishyam, Drishyam 2, and the 12th Man. Seeking Justice is the film’s tagline. The movie’s plot is written by Santhi Maya Devi and Jeethu Joseph. Santhy Antony and Antony Perumbavoor produced the film under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
