Acclaimed actor Mohanlal is reportedly the front runner to host the first season of Bigg Boss Malayalam, as per the latest buzz on the Internet. The makers are said to be in talks with couple of other popular Malayalam actors as well; however, Mohanlal is said to be a clear favourite.
Last year, Mohanlal had made his debut on small screen with a talk show named Lalsalaam where he spoke about his own popular films, and the Malayalam version of Bigg Boss could be his next outing on TV. Incidentally, his Janatha Garage co-star NTR Jr had hosted the Telugu version of Bigg Boss season 1.
The show has also become a huge hit in Tamil where it was hosted by Kamal Haasan, whereas in Kannada, Sudeep has been hosting the show for the past few years.
