When Mirai was first announced, many assumed it would be just another action drama with fantasy elements. But the makers surprised everyone, stunning audiences with each visual update and building solid expectations for the film. Upon release, Mirai turned into a box office success.
Teja Sajja led this action-adventure drama, directed by Kartik Gattamneni, with Manchu Manoj delivering an impactful performance as the antagonist. The film opened strong and held steady at the box office, collecting decent numbers. By the end of its 5th day, it crossed the Rs. 100 crore gross mark worldwide – a rare feat for such a young actor in the lead.
That’s not all. The movie also worked wonders at the North American box office, surpassing the $2 million gross mark, making it the second film of Teja Sajja’s career to achieve this milestone.
With its success still continuing, the makers are delighted. Mirai also features Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and others in prominent roles, with People Media Factory backing the project. Music is composed by Gowra Hari.
