After posting sensational numbers over the first weekend, Teja Sajja’s fantasy action adventure Mirai has passed the Monday test comfortably. The movie directed by Karthik Gattamneni is inching closer to the Rs. 100 crore milestone. Manoj Manchu played the antagonist.
The movie is holding well on Tuesday, too, signaling a strong run till the arrival of OG. Every hour, more than 7K tickets are being sold on Book My Show, leading to fast-filling shows in several centres of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Pulling off these range bookings on a working day is no small feat. Mirai has largely succeeded in impressing kids with its visuals and storytelling.
Since there aren’t any big releases this weekend, Mirai is expected to continue its dominance at the box office. Backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film also stars Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram in key roles. Gowra Hari composed the tunes.
