It’s going to be a memorable day for the Kollywood Super Star Rajinikanth and Dhanush, tomorrow (Oct 25). The father-in-law and son-in-law duo will be receiving the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke and the National Award for Best Actor respectively at the 67th National Film Awards ceremony in New Delhi. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will be presenting the awards to both the power-packed actors along with other winners from across the country.
Thalaivar Rajinikanth will be honoured by the Indian government with the coveted Dada Saheb Phalke award for his invaluable contribution to Tamil and Indian Cinema for the last 4 and a half decades. On the other hand, Dhanush was adjudged Best Actor for his intense performance in Vetrimaaran’s acclaimed rural action drama, Asuran. Dhanush will be sharing the Best Actor award with Bollywood star Manoj Bajpai, who won the laurel for Bhonsle.
