Lahari Films and Chai Bisket Films’ new film Mem Famous arrived in theatres yesterday. Apart from directing the film Sumanth Prabhas also played the lead role. The movie, however, received mixed reviews from critics. Mem Famous also had special premieres on the night of 25th May.
The latest news from the producers is that the movie collected a gross of 1.1 crores gross worldwide, which includes the numbers of day one and paid premiers. This is pretty impressive for a film that doesn’t have any stars. The weekend performance becomes crucial now.
Geetha Film Distribution released the film in Telugu states. Kalyan Nayak composed the tunes. Anurag Reddy, Sharath, and Chandru Manoharan together produced the movie. Mani Aegurla, Saarya, Mourya Chowdary, and Siri Raasi essayed other vital roles.
