National award winning Tamil director Bala is well-known to Telugu audiences through his realistic yet heart wrenching movies such as Sivaputrudu, Nenu Devunni and Vaadu-Veedu etc.
Apart from being acclaimed for his dark and disturbing movies, Bala has also produced a few movies featuring other directors. One such movie is Chandi Veeran. The film, starring Telugu girl Rakshitha (Anandhi) and Atharvaa, was released in 2015 and it was directed by Sarkunam.
Now, Chandi Veeran is releasing in Telugu as Kaali. The film showcases an intense water war between two villages. Producer MMR will be releasing the film’s audio album and the movie in December.
