Matru Devo Bhava to be remade in Bhojpuri

One of the most melodramatic films of all time in Telugu, Matru Devo Bhava starring Madhavi and Nassar is now being remade in Bhojpuri. The film had released back in 1993 and till date people who have seen the film remember how much they cried while watching the film. K Ajay Kumar had directed the film and K S Rama Rao had produced it. Now, this film is going to be remade in Bhojpuri with Jayaprada and Manoj Tiwari in lead roles. Dinkar Kapoor is going to direct the remake and incidentally, Jayaprada is going to produce the remake. Bollywood is abuzz with rumours that Jayaprada is keen on producing more films in near future and she’s setting the ball rolling with Matru Devo Bhava’s remake.
