Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan shattered the box office left, right, and center. The action drama directed by Atlee went on to gross over 1150 crores globally. The movie is now the new industry hit in Bollywood with about 590 crores nett. Overseas, the film collected close to 400 crores. Jawan has now created history at the international level.
Jawan became the only Indian film to get nominated at the ASTRA Awards (Astra Film and Creative Arts Awards), which will be held by Hollywood Creative Alliance (HCA). The Shah Rukh Khan starrer secured a nomination in the “Best International Feature Film” category. King Khan fans are over the moon with this nomination.
Jawan also has Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, and others in key roles. This massy drama is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The man in form, Anirudh Ravichander, composed the tunes.
