The film was met with mixed responses from the audience, but at the box office, the actioner had a decent run, raking in 70 crores gross. Vysakh, who helmed successful commercial entertainers like Pulimurugan and Pokkiri Raja, is the director of Turbo.
We have recently reported that Sony Liv acquired the streaming rights of this biggie. Here is the latest update from the OTT platform. Turbo will be available for streaming from August 9th. The movie is expected to stream in multiple languages from the said date. The theatrical window is more than two and a half months.
Sandalwood actor Raj B Shetty played the antagonist. Popular Telugu comedian Sunil is also part of this flick. Anjana Jayaprakash, Sabareesh Varma, Dileesh Pothan, and Bindu Panicker played other crucial roles. Mammootty bankrolled Turbo under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.
