Star heroine Anushka’s much-awaited suspense thriller, Nishabdham, was supposed to hit screens in January and it’s being postponed ever since. The two month long lockdown and the uncertainty surrounding the reopening of the movie halls are not helping the matters either.
Ever since the lockdown was announced, there have been strong speculations that Nishabdham’s makers are planning to skip the theatrical release and instead premiere the film directly on a leading OTT platform. Around a month ago, the makers had clarified that Nishabdham will not be released on any digital streaming app and that they will wait until theaters function normally.
With the lockdown being extended and there is no possibility of theaters remaining shut for the next 3 months, Nishabdham’s OTT release is back in the news. And once again, the producers have clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the film’s digital release. Fans will have to wait for a few more days to get some clarity regarding the film’s release.
