The first glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss’ Madharasi has received a solid response from the audience. The action blocks and fast cuts instantly clicked with movie buffs, and now the anticipation for this flick has grown much bigger. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead. In a recent interview with the Times of India, AR Murugadoss revealed some interesting details about Madharasi.
The Kaththi director said, “Memory loss and sleeper cells are the unique elements of Ghajini and Thuppakki, respectively. These two elements form the USP of those films. Similarly, Madharasi will have one such special element that is linked to Sivakarthikeyan’s character. It will be too early to reveal what it is now. All I can say at the moment is that his role will be unusual.”
Murugadoss added, “The story opens from the point of view of North Indian people. Madharasi is a term that North Indians use to refer to South people. The usage of this term has reduced lately, but since the film is about how North Indians view us, I felt Madharasi would be the appropriate title.”
“Sivakarthikeyan’s character in the film doesn’t care about his appearance or himself. Madharasi is a commercial action film with a beautiful love story inside it. The movie will appeal to Sivakarthikeyan fans and also get critical acclaim. Except for the climax, the shooting for other portions is wrapped.” noted AR Murugadoss.
