Legendary singer to get her wax statue at Madame Tussauds

Legendary Hindi playback singer Asha Bhonsle will soon get her wax statue installed at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in New Delhi. The museum authorities took the singer’s measurements last year.

Over the past 6 decades, Asha Bhonsle has been enthralling music lovers with her timeless classics and mellifluous voice. Asha is also well-known to Telugu music lovers through some of her hit numbers in the 80s and 90s.

Asha has been honored by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most recorded artist in music history. She was also honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000, and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
